What we collect, why, who sees it and your choices.

1. 01Who we are

   Jugaad (jugaad.pk) is operated by Red Bee Solutions, 237-B Chandni Chowk, Model Town, Gujranwala, Pakistan. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy, which covers the website and everything you do on Jugaad.

2. 02What we collect

   • Account details: name, email, password (stored only in scrambled, hashed form by our sign-in system), city, role and the profile details you choose to publish. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
   • Phone number: used for verification, the notifications you turn on and safety checks. It is never shown publicly.
   • Identity verification: CNIC images and a selfie for auction bidders and other verification.
   • Payments: the method you used, the transaction ID, the payment reference and the receipt image you upload. We never ask for or store card numbers.
   • Payout details: the JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank account where you want to be paid.
   • Billing details: billing name, address and NTN if you add them for invoices.
   • Listings and orders: what you list, buy, sell, deliver, review and report.
   • Messages: everything you send in Jugaad messages, quotes and change requests.
   • Demo access: when you view a listing's test login, we record who viewed it and when.
   • Device and sign-in history: sign-in times, successful and failed attempts, approximate device and browser, and active sessions, to protect your account.
   • Analytics: pages you visit, where you came from (for example a campaign or referral link) and a random visit ID kept for your browser session.

3. 03Why we use it

   • To run your account, listings, orders, Safe Deals, auctions and payouts.
   • To verify payments, bidders and makers.
   • To send the in-app, email and WhatsApp notifications you have turned on.
   • To stop fraud, spam and abuse, and to handle disputes and reports.
   • To improve Jugaad and understand which pages help people.
   • To meet legal, tax and accounting duties in Pakistan.

4. 04Who can see it

   • The public: only what you publish on your profile and listings. Phone numbers, emails, CNIC images, selfies, receipts and payout details are never public.
   • Other users: only what a deal needs. For example, a seller sees the buyer's name and order details, and contact details in messages stay hidden until a Safe Deal exists.
   • Jugaad staff: only team members whose role needs it. Finance sees payments and payouts, moderators see reports and verification, and support sees what is needed to help you. Admin actions are logged.
   • Service providers: our cloud hosting and database provider and our email, messaging and payment providers, only to run Jugaad.
   • Authorities: when Pakistani law or a valid legal order requires it.
   • We do not sell your data.

5. 05Where it is stored

   Your data is stored with our cloud hosting and database provider, which may keep it on secure servers outside Pakistan. Data is encrypted in transit, private files (receipts, CNIC images, delivery files) are kept in private storage, and demo logins are stored encrypted.

6. 06How long we keep it

   • Account and profile data: while your account is open, then deleted or anonymised within 90 days after you close it.
   • Orders, payments, invoices and payout records: up to 5 years, for tax and accounting.
   • CNIC images and selfies: until they are no longer needed for verification, and no longer than 1 year after your account closes.
   • Messages, dispute evidence and security logs: up to 2 years, to handle disputes and fraud.
   • Analytics: kept only in summary form after 2 years.

7. 07Facebook, Instagram and Google

   If you sign in with Google we receive only your name, email and profile picture. Jugaad's staff connect Jugaad's own Facebook Page and Instagram account to publish our posts and reply to comments on them; for this we receive Page names, post statistics and public comments on our own posts. We never post on your behalf, never read your private messages and never sell this data.

8. 08Your rights

   • See the personal data we hold about you.
   • Correct anything that is wrong. Most details can be edited in your settings.
   • Ask us to delete data we no longer need.
   • Close your account. We keep only what the law or open deals require.
   • Turn notifications on or off in your notification settings.

   To use these rights, email support@jugaad.pk from the email address on your account. We reply within 30 days.

9. 09Cookies

   We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember choices and count visits.

10. 10Children

    Jugaad is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has an account, tell us and we will remove it.

11. 11Changes

    When this policy changes, we update the date at the top and tell you about important changes.
